Cory McCloskey, channel 10, Fox news interviewed Dolores Thompson, Steering Committee, on Monday, November 21, 2011. The Auxiliary of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale has been busy this holiday season. We hosted our 31st annual Visions of Sugarplums event and raised over $100,000.00.

This signature event has grown to be a significant fundraiser for The Auxiliary, with all proceeds benefiting The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale. It has become a popular annual tradition in the Valley that launches the holiday season in November with a dazzling day of Friends, a Fashion Show, an Elegant Luncheon, Shopping, and Entertainment.
Auxiliary members work year-round planning for this premier event. Every Tuesday morning at the Virginia Piper branch, Auxiliary members gather together to sew, knit, craft and paint creating an irresistible variety of treasures that will be showcased and sold during Visions of Sugarplums Holiday Event.
